CULINARY : Cloud 9 singapore chilled tau huay ^^

Hello hello hello

welcome to my blog " The Beauty & Pocket" : D

I told you before that i'm in holiday season right now.

So i can hang out a lot, and do posts at this blog yay! \(´▽`)/

Okay my beloved readers, as write at the title, today i want to share my culinary haul with

Cloud 9 singapore chilled tau huay

Before i show you my review, let's talk about the Tau Huay it self : D
this is what i find from wikipedia:

Douhua (Chinese: 豆花, dòuhuā) or doufuhua (Chinese: 豆腐花, dòufuhuā) is a Chinese dessert made with very soft tofu.
It is also referred to as tofu pudding and soybean pudding.
In Singapore and Malaysia it is more commonly known by its names tow huay or tau huay in Min Nan.
Unpacked tofu used in so many cuisine, from Northern Chinese cuisine until Vietnamese Cuisine

The writer at wikipedia use Mary Bai (2011-10-19). "Tofu, a Healthy Traditional Food in China"

(in english) as reference.

After we know about tofu or tau huay , now let's take a look at my photos : D

Cloud 9 Singapore Chilled Tau Huay is a new place to find delicious food that opened at last December 2012,

The location at Ciputra Mall Semarang is exactly in front of the BII Maybank branch,

at the new way that connect Ciputra Mall and Ciputra Hotel.

And as its name Cloud 9,

it's logo is cloud with the small air plane, with purple background.

Like you will fly between cloud with the airplane in the sky, when eat their tau huay

: D

Thecounter is not big, maybe it's because the cost to rent this place is already expensive enough

Actually i prefer a more comfortable place one, but yeah it still find for me.

Because what we eat will just a pudding, that fast to finish out from a whole bowl : )


The store decorated with white clouds bar, and purple desk in front of it . As their name chilled tau huay, they use refrigerator to chill the tofu puding : D

Now for the pudding or chilled tau huay it self. jjan!!

There are 5 varians :

- Soya Licious

- Yam licious

- Moccha licious

- Lemon licious

- Berry licious

Price : 12.000 rupiah each

You can guess from it's colours that mine was Yam licious,yam is taro flavour.

this is my favourite from their varians : D

They provide samples to try from every varian,

so if you confuse to decide which one will you want, just ask to taste their sample.

* The soya licious/ original one is sweet, and feel like soya milk in form of pudding.

* The Yam licious one has similar taste with original, but has a taro flavour.

Not a very stong flavour, but you can still taste the taro when you eat it, just balance :)

*The Moccha licious taste prefer to coffee than to chocolate

( moccha : coffee + chocolate)

I like coffee, but don't know why i don't really like it.

Maybe because for pudding i prefer sweet or sour one.

*The Lemon licious taste a strong lemon, has sour flavour

>> will buy it next time, this is my second favourite : D

* The Berry licious is sweet strawberry flavour.

The texture of the pudding is soooo lovely

super soft, fluffy, like just melt in your mouth ! ‎(´▿`ʃƪ)

So, overall here is my ratings :

* Texture : 10/10
* Place : 7.5/10
* Price : 10/10 >> affordable, get much enough :)
*Repurchase : Definitely !

Happy Day with bestfriend, Healthy Diet Food by Bryan Resto Semarang ^^

Hai girls, welcome to my blog " The Beauty & Pocket ".
My blog's name idea come based on my personality.
I will only buy and recommend products that is worthed to buy ( from result, function, and price).
I will always give my honest review n ratings in every post. So you can trust me : D

Today i want to share my happy day with my best friend Birgitta Ratna, give another beautiful happy day in my long time holiday hahaha : D

So, we went to Bryan Resto Semarang to try their foods.

It's a new opening restaurant that has Texas concept i think.

You will find a Texas feeling while enjoy your foods in this restaurant : D

Both of us order Grilled Chicken Breast Steak.

There are 3 options of sauce : Barbeque, Black Pepper, and Texas Sauce.

The waiter told us that this texas sauce is similar with Barbeque sauce, has sweet and sour taste.

The difference is if the barbeque prefer to the sweet taste, while the texas sauce is more to sour one.

We decide to try the Texas sauce since it sounds not familiar but challenging to try since it sounds delicious.

I really really like sour taste since i was child, and find a sour sweet sauce is like a little kid get their candy!

haha : D

I imagined it will be sour sweet taste that will melt my mouth yummy!>.<

i'm so sad and regeret since i didn't take any picture of our meals.

I don't think will post it at my blog :(

But it REALLY REALLY DELICIOUS guys, you must try it!

It came in medium size of grilled chicken breast, and they poured the Texas sauce on top of it like any other usual steak.

You can choose the type of the potato as you want.

Mine come with salad, and wedges potato.

While birgitta's come in with salad and fried potato.

The texture of the chicken meat is soft and like melting in my mouth.

Especially it covers with the delicious texas sauce - i recommend to choose this type of sauce since it's like the special one they offer in their resto.

You can easily find barbeque and black pepper sauce at any other restaurant right? : D

The size is medium, big enought for me, make me full after eat this

I control my diet my everyday, and i happily tell you that this one is other delicious thing that you can eat safely without scare you will gain weight! ^^v

The meat is grilled so it low calorie

It has nutrition from the meat itself and the sauce of course

we must concern about the nutrition since we reduce the amount of the food that we eat, so we can make sure not lack of nutrition inside our body ;)

I taste a tomato flavour inside the sauce, maybe they use it to develop the sour taste.

And also there is salad, even thought just a little amount so you can get the minerals and from the vegetables.

The sald come with mayonaise on topnof it, so if you don't want to have any fat, just take it with your fork and put it away.

The little thing that i don't like about this dish is the potato just can come in two ways.

WEDGES or FRIED.

If it can comes in baked potato, or massaged potato it will be perfect for delicious health food : D

Ow yeah, Birgitta ordered this kiwi smoothies that time, and has this nice photoshoot
you maybe want to try it if you're smoothies lovers


i don't really like smoothies since i avoid it in my diet, but this actually taste good since it made from kiwi - that green delicious fruit ^^

*Ratings : 8.5/10 (not full point because of the potato)

* Cost : about 35000 rupiah - affordable and reasonable price for the delicious dish : D

*Repurchase : Absolutely!
